Black History Month Mix and Match Event

April 23, 2007 by

Do you want to find out more about or take part in Black History Month within Kensington and Chelsea? Do you have an idea for a project but nowhere to run it? Are you an organisation/individual with plenty of space but no one to run your project?

If so please come to the Black History Month Project Market!

This event is being held prior to Kensington and Chelsea’s next Arts Grants deadline in May to give everyone the chance to make a “match” at the event and have time to develop the project and make an application to the Arts Grants scheme.

Funding and marketing information will also be available and Arts Officers will be on hand to offer advice on funding applications, marketing deadlines and any other project issues.

The event will also feature short talks from Lorraine Gilbert, Chair of Race Equality Partnership Kensington and Chelsea and Janet Browne from Victoria and Albert Museum on the ‘Uncomfortable Truths’ exhibition.
