Drama & ESOL Tutors required Southwark

Rewrite are looking for Drama Facilitators with ESOL teaching skills or an interest in using drama to teach English and ESOL teachers with Drama Facilitator Skills or an interest in delivering ESOL teaching through drama and creative writing, to join a freelance workshop tutors pool.

The successful applicants will join a pool of tutors that may be engaged to devise and deliver an after school ESOL course for 11-16 year olds in Southwark. The aim of the course will be to use drama, creative writing and other creative activities to help young people learn, practice and gain confidence in speaking English.

Rewrite is a registered charity that brings children and young people from refugee and host communities together in drama and creative writing projects which aim to break down barriers of prejudice, challenge injustice and raise awareness of issues surrounding refuge and asylum. Our work also aims to promote understanding and celebrate cultural diversity.
