Recently heard the sad news…….shock!!! We are here today but gone tomorrow. Rest in peace Louisa, I grew up on your music, it was whilst commenting on your song (December 2010) that i was told the unbelieable sad news. You will always be remembered for your music, sleep in peace. xx

Beautiful voice, from a beautiful lady, from a time when people would dress to go out, respect each other and appreciate lovely music…i have fond memories of my dad playing Louisa on a Sunday, and singing along with my sister!!

Amazing homegrown talent, i’m proud of her achievements. R.I.P. lovely lady Louisa your legacy goes on and your art is immortalised.

I was so sad to hear about Louisa, she was truly a great. I had the opportunity to see her at Hammersmith Apollo in 2001 or 2002 and she mashed up the place with her range of notes and vibrancy. She then took the time to sign her album and speak to people.

I always remember coming up with Louisa marks, another group called 15 16 and 17, Brown Sugar and so many more.

Louisa you are and always will be the Queen of Lovers Rock and for you…forever and always we will continue to..KEEP IT LIKE IT IS!!!!

Boy@ six street cause me to buss my lip. I ran out of school to the record shop in tottenham many yearsago and tried to run back in before getting caught but running made me trip over and almost tear off my bottom lip but louisa and clem survived the fall. RIP Louisa nuff love.

I just dont know whats happening, it seems that our age group generation is not living to see 50! it is a real concern. louise as far as i am concern had her whole life ahead and was cut short why no one knows but where she is now i am sure she is in a better place and is looking down on us asking us not to cry or worry no more because she is with her maker. god be with you always louise. blessing April.
